By using Cook With Cella ("CwC") — our website and our mobile app — you agree to these terms. Please read them.

The service

CwC helps you track your kitchen, get recipe ideas built from what you own, plan meals, and shop smarter. The companion mobile app is a scanner that adds groceries to your kitchen; the full experience lives on the web app.

Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old to use CwC. It isn't intended for children, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

What it costs

Every feature is free for everyone, and we intend to keep it that way — we don't lock features behind a paywall. We earn revenue instead through affiliate shopping links (see below).

Your account

You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since that's how you sign in. Linking the mobile app to your account grants that device access to your data — remove it from Settings if you lose the device. Don't use CwC for anything unlawful or abusive.

Fair use

Some features that rely on outside AI services are subject to reasonable usage limits so the service stays free and available for everyone. We may adjust these limits, and we may throttle or suspend automated or abusive use.

AI-generated content

Recipes, images, roasts, and other suggestions are generated by AI and provided as-is. They can be wrong. Always use your own judgment for food safety, allergens, and dietary needs — verify ingredients and cooking temperatures yourself. Allergen and dietary filters reduce risk but are not a guarantee, and nothing in CwC is medical, nutritional, or professional advice.

Shopping & affiliate links

Our Best-Price Cart shows prices from nearby stores and links you out to retailers to buy. Some of those links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you purchase — at no extra cost to you. We are not the seller: prices, availability, and your purchase are between you and the retailer, and estimates shown in CwC (including any tax estimate) may differ from what you're actually charged.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add. By sharing a recipe or a "Roast My Fridge" result via a public link, you allow anyone with that link to view that content; you can stop sharing by deleting it. When you upload a photo (for example, of your fridge or a receipt), you confirm you have the right to share it, and you agree not to upload other people's personal information or anything unlawful. Photos are processed by our AI providers to produce your result.

Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim for reliability but don't promise the service will always be available or error-free.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CwC is provided without warranties, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

Changes

We'll update these terms as the product evolves and revise the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
